My kitchen shears are probably my most used kitchen tool. And they have been for many many years...even before kids. But I have found many more uses for them. They are definitely a go to for cutting food at my house too. :D
I LOVE kitchen shears...by the way I figured out my "button" html problem, so ignore my frantic e-mail..hehe
My mom taught me this trick. My son is a pizza-holic, so it comes in handy.

Great for chopping parsley in a measuring cup too. Otherwise I WOULD cut my fingers!

I started using nice kitchen shears to cut up kiddo food quickly (hot dogs, green beans, grapes, anything, really!)
Shears soon became one of my most useful kitchen tools!
