As for wordpress...DO IT! I love wordpress. I feel it's a much more "mature" blogging platform. You have seemingly endless options and great content management.
My only difficulty with wordpress was finding a theme I could customize to my liking. That was a little more work, but in the end well worth it.
I needed to take a picture yesterday when I had to use the travel potty in the car and Iris was telling me "don't break it, mommmy!" and my stepmom and her granddaughter were peering through the car windows to see if we were inside!!

I'm so jealous. My car isn't big enough. But if it was I'd most likely be the one using the potty.
