Blueberry Blend
- 1 container of blueberries - I used 6oz
- 1 banana
- Puree in the blender till it is completely liquefied. Use rice cereal if it needs to be thickened up. Use applesauce or water if it needs to be thinned down.

They can help prevent cataracts, glaucoma, varicose veins, hemorrhoids, peptic ulcers, heart disease and cancer. AND, improve structures in the veins and vascular system. Tufts University analyzed 60 fruits and vegetables for their antioxidant capability. Blueberries, rated highest in their capacity to destroy free radicals.

I put this in the fridge overnight and the next day it had thickened up a lot! Just add something to thin it down. I used yogurt!
I loved making my kids food. Esp. Makenlee I got so into it b/c she refused to eat anything store bought. Already a food snob. HA! No she just likes real food I guess. Have you ever read Super Baby Food by Ruth Yaron. She has a website too. BTW love the blog. I love blogging. It is addicting.
