Of course, we did some Valentine's crafts!! I just cut a bunch of hearts and let the kiddos go wild with glue and glitter.
I came up with some festive heart art pieces (art pieces sounds so much more fancy!). But most of all my little ones had fun and I was soaking up every second of it!!
We presented Hot Hubby with his Valentine... he loved it!
Already in their PJs, we whisked the kiddos off to their buddies' house so we could have a hot date.We had the best dinner ever at Lou's Red Oak BBQ Grill (thanks Susie!!) then saw the lamest movie ever. I don't want to bad talk about the movie because I'm just not into the ranting blogs, but... we saw He's Just Not That Into You. #1 The whole movie was stolen from an episode of Sex and the City... you remember the one when Samantha gets advice about the guy that "just isn't that into" her? #2 We aren't into cheating and lying in a marriage... not entertainment for us. We thought it was lame... so spend the $22.00 if you want to... we wish we could have ours back!

Fun day! You all were very busy. I love your blog header. Good to know about the movie. I'll just wait for redbox.
Sounds like a blast, except the movie. Sorry.
Those are fabulous Valentine art pieces...yes, 'art pieces' is a much fancier term.

Hey! We do not like movies like that either. :) I like morals. They make me happy.
Fun Valentines. That is SO cute! That is really cool that you still celebrate Cora Jane's b-day and then Valentines...
And as for the lame holiday I was born on? President's Day. Blah...
Me and my husband wasted our money on the same movie. Too bad they made it look so good in the previews. They forgot to tell us 3/4 of the plot was the guy cheating on his wife. Not cool.
I've always wanted to make a red velvet cake, but I always chicken out. Maybe I'll try it now!
Thanks for the movie review. I was going to go see that too. I can't wait to come home and do crafts with you!
