Pacific Symphony

Target hosted a FREE summer concert under the stars with the Pacific Symphony!
We were so there! (Did I mention it was FREE?!?)
We met up with some long time friends... as in we knew them before kiddos. (whatever that means)

The event was super kid friendly. The maestro came out before the show and did a lesson on how to conduct. Eli had no clue what was going on and used his baton as a sword... awesome!

In case you ever wondered what you looked like while you were eating...

The night was just beautiful...

...till we did a few timeouts and I brought out the knifty knitter.

(Cora would tuck her sandwich under her arm and do a dainty golfer clap)

The night was awesome and we will be doing it again next year.

Except we will bring loads of sit still children's activities!!

I'm not the best lunch packer (as some of you might remember Cora Jane gnawing on a potato at the pool). This time I packed leftover lasagna and one paper towel.

Yes folks, ONE PAPER TOWEL!!!

Rookie mistake.

Cora is wearing the Pink Snowboarder Lid in pink size newborn-1-year-old.

Eli is wearing the Tomboy Rock n' Roll Lid size 1-5-years-old (turned black side out to hide the girly hearts)

Flip Flop Walk...

I shuffle along like a Geisha with my flip flops on.

This delectable trail mix includes: raisins, goldfish, animal crackers, and a few chocolate chips because Mommy Rules!

Cora Jane was there too!

Impromptu Picnic...

We had a picnic last night and it really helped to spice up our leftover dinner of pizza and spaghetti. I did roast some fresh yummy veggies. We ate and chatted in the almost Autumn air while Eli played basketball.
I wish I could say that the picnic was just my creative idea, but in actuality our dining room was an explosion of all my sewing!!!
