My favorite words for a craft!
You'll need...1. Paint the plastic eggs with Mod Podge so you have a nice sticky base (great for kids to do... messy). Extra points if you get Mod Podge on your face! This coat doesn't need to dry before starting the next step :) 2. Cut paper into thin strips (about 1/4") of different lengths.
3. Dip paper into water
4. Stick paper on egg
5. Paint with Mod Podge (The more the better... in between every layer or overlapping strips)
Takes about 20 minutes to dry...
I used a cake platter to display.
Tips:
I think it looks better with busy paper patterns.
Using tissue paper is way faster.
I wish I would have use more coordinating papers.

That looks like lots of fun. I'll definitely have to try that with the little one next year when I don't have to do most of the work. :)
What a great idea. I have so many of those plastic eggs. These would be fun and easy to do for next year.
Fun eggs!
Mmmmm... fish tacos!
What a great idea! 6 kids = 6 dozen eggs. TOO many! So we only did 3 dozen this year and everyone was sad.
Thanks for the tip! I will have to remember this for next year!!! :)
