To make MOMday fun in our house we take lots of extra little naps...ok, well that's fun for ME, but that counts, right? Also, that's not really true since I'd have a riot on my hands if I tried that. BUT we usually eat more casually on weekends, so Monday we spend a lot of time in the kitchen making healthy edibles for the week and my kids are great helpers!!
Mondays we have lunch outside during mommy's work-break... a little sunshine is good for all of us and the kids look forward to running wild!

Every Monday, we go to Toddler Time and sing, dance, hear stories, and play with our friends. Sometimes we head to the park afterwards. Mondays are great.

Monday mornings, well I like to Spin off the calories I just ate all weekend while I let the kids get their exercise running around the Kids Klub at the gym! Then I drag-you know with joy-the kids to Joann's Fabrics to get crafty and come home to create!
We start the week with a healthy and yummy breakfast. The kids love pancakes or waffles, so Mondays I usually cook them up.

I make MOMday fun by having all the kids help me with dinner. I give everyone a task depending on age/what they're good at, and we all have fun in the kitchen!

I make sure that I have all papers signed, backpacks are packed, and lunches are prepared on Sunday night. It makes Monday morning so much easier to handle. There is no running around with mom yelling about this not being done. We can enjoy a good breakfast and talk about what we get to look forward to for the week.

I'm am an expecting mother that looks forward to Momday mornings. I usually have a huge breakfast and clear out my tivo before work. I also clean out the fridge and make a grocery list, which may not sound fun, but there it feels like a good way to start the week!!!

We always have a dance party to High school Musical songs for about 5 minutes before we jump in the car to go to work/school on Monday and Friday mornings. On Mondays it is to pep us up and on Fridays it is to celebrate. You have to have some fun in life, and plus it helps mom get a little bit of exercise in...Im hoping the saying a little bit goes a long way is true.

How do I have fun on Monday? My mother-in-law visits us every single Monday morning. Can you think of a BETTER way to start the week? No? I didn't think so! I mean, what's more FUN than seeing your mother-in-law for HOURS first thing MONDAY MORNING?!?! Seriously, there's nothing better in the WORLD! /sarcasm
Mondays, yuck! I try to get things ready Sunday night so we aren't so rushed in the morning. Clothes out, coffee made, lunch made, backpack near the door.

Monday's are always toughest on the husband so we all go out to dinner so that he can relax and order whatever he wants. It is something we enjoy as a family.

Well, my son goes to preschool on that day so he has fun at school, but before he goes he picks out a book to take to school for class reading hour! He really enjoys this and I love seeing his excitement!
MOMday is reverse chore day. My kids are young, so they don't have a lot of chores, but on MOMday, Mom doesn't do any chores, and the kids complete any weekly tasks they have (straighten room) plus they take over what they can handle (set table, clear off surfaces, etc.)
I try and make MOMday morning a treat for my children and myself!
A fun breakfast; like, pancakes with
faces that can be decorated personally by each person!

We spend MOMday getting the house back in order and the week started up again...
Although that's not really all that fun...
I do nanny two boys as well on Mondays and TAKE A NAP WHEN ALL THE KIDS ARE SLEEPING :) YAY!!
Tuesday is discount day at the movies, so Monday we sit down and plan what movie we'll see (and sometimes we go to the store & buy some candy to take...yes we sneak it in...but we do buy expensive but delicious lemonade at the theater!!!)

Hmmm. . . Monday. It's usually kind of a catch-up day at our house, but one thing I almost always do is make baked oatmeal for breakfast. Doesn't sound all that exciting, but my boys really love it!
My fun on a Monday? We go to the library every single Monday. It is a fun way for us to start out the week and connect with what's going on with us and that we're interested in... and we all have books to read for the rest of the week, too (ok, except me, since I never seem to manage to check out any books for myself. Oops).

I really enjoy Monday mornings, when we get back into the routine of our week. The first thing I do is turn on the tea kettle and brew a cup of organic earl grey tea for myself, and some herbal tea for my toddler. We sit and drink tea together, and "talk" about what we plan to do for the week!

Make a really yummy breakfast, go for a nature walk, and then head for the playground...great way to have him worn out by nap time so that I get a little mommy time in the day.
I make Mondays fun by putting a little card and treat in my daughters lunch. It seriously sets the tone for the whole week with her. Also on Monday morning, hubby leaves me a note telling me all the things he enjoyed doing with the family over the weekend. It means alot!!

We have a family dinner together...something quick and easy...and play the "Rose and Thorn" game. You share your rose (the best part of your day), your thorn (a not so great part of your day), and your bud (what you're looking forward to). It's turned into quite the event in our house...we even play Rock, Paper, Scissors to see who gets to go first!
Every now and then, I let the kids play hookie from school. We have a family-day Monday - sleep late and go off and do something fun - it makes it seem even more fun that we're off on a day we're otherwise supposed to be working/schooling!

I love to lay in bed and cuddle with the wee ones. We usually have at least 2 or 3 little ones in bed with us! It's the best way to wake up in the morning!

Our local Dog park is amazing for kids to play on the playground and seperate fields for the dogs! Each "Momday" to help give my mom a break Me and my dad take the dog + little sister there while my mom can get some serious relaxation done ALONE!

Being origionally from Michigan it was not easy to plan an outdoor activity (picnic, BBQ,etc.) around the weather. Having re-located to Georgia, it is easier to spend the day with my sister, her daughter and grand-daughter in the out of doors

We do a family dinner where everyone is responsible for a part of dinner - my husband usually grills something, my oldest daughter is in charge of the veggie, my youngest is in charge of drinks, & I take care of everything else! The kids love it because it makes them feel grown-up & it helps me out!
A lot of times we have breakfast for dinner. Our family loves that and it is quick an easy after the hardest day of the work week.

Ok, I need to be honest here! Mondays are MY MOMday! My husband works Monday-Friday and since I am a SAHM I have to put up with him all weekend long. Don't get me wrong, I love my hubby dearly, but Mondays he goes back to work and the 2 year old and I party! I usually take him out for icecream, make him fun lunches and act all silly! I don't have to answer to anyone come Monday.
Reminds me of that killer Jimmy Buffet song....Come Monday, I'll be alright....
