Done smelling like milk...

~Breast milk is best for baby.
~Nursing is free.
Those are the 2 reasons I breast fed my kiddos.
Cora is now 11 months old and she is done with the boob and I'm not forcing it back on her.
This means I'm DONE!!!
Woo hoo!!!
In honor of this special occasion I got new PJs and I'm going to get all new bras this weekend (thanks to Hot Hubby's $50 visa gift card, an award for being awesome at work... you go babe!!).
Goodbye milk stained pajamas!!
Goodbye ugly nursing bras.*
*Now don't go showing me cute nursing bras, I know they exist. They are too expensive and I wasn't about to spend non-necessity moo-la till the magic one-year-switch-to-whole-milk-milestone.

Random Breast milk Note:
I heard breast milk helps with pink eye and I found it to be surprisingly soothing on my Race for the Cure eye agony. Before you start thinking I'm crazy do a Google search and you'll find it is totally legit. Here is one I found especially helpful.

.
Because I have learned that new undies and matching PJ really do equal inner peace and joy!! You don't believe me!?!? Do it, then thank me later :)

Breastmilk is the best for any infection. I used it on eye junk, ear infections, stuffy nose. Neither child has had an antibiotic for infections. I always used breastmilk and it cleared it rt up. Best anti ever better then some pill or other funky color liquid medicine.

I envy you! I have been trying to wean for 2 months now. We are down to about 3 times a day now. Wish me luck!

Thank you for stopping by my blog and the sweet comment. Come by anytime. ;)

I had never heard it put quite so beautiful "I feel in love with them as I cared for them!" and I have to agree. I can't imagine a biologicial child any more or any different than I love my four miracles. All children are a gift from the Lord no matter what path they took to your arms. Amen? :)

I look forward to coming back to your site and having a looksey!

God Bless,
KC <><

Breast milk for pink eye! Wow, we women really do have something special inside of us (he he). You're new pjs look very comfortable.

I cannot wait to be able to choose any top I want to wear without worrying that my breast pad will show.

I have a long way to go though since my son is only 5 weeks old.

I always find it interesting how passionate some are about breastfeeding. I haven't dealt with it because I don't have kids yet, but it always seemed natural and right to me.

Hooray for new pjs!

I'm sure I'll go out and splurge at VS after my youngest weans too, lol!

Just curious - since you're a handcrafter, what are you going to do after the CPSIA is enacted?

Cute new pjs! Love em! Congrats on making it 11 months w/ CJ. I'm right on your tail w/ finishing up... does twice a day still count as nursing? haha...

LOL. I absolutely believe you! I considered a nursing bra burning party when I was done nursing! :-)

Thanks for playing. I still hope to get some wedding pix up today!

Oh, there's nothing like that "done nursing" feeling. I always felt like it opened up a whole new world of wardrobe options. Congrats to you! :)
