P Diddy!

Is it wrong that I don't care when my son is potty trained?
Today we made a potty chart (using the crayons we made some time back). A sticker for every Pee-Diddy he does...

When Eli sits on the potty we all gather around to read Green Eggs and Ham. He took this picture of us while sitting on his Elmo potty...
In these parts you get 2 chocolate chips for going Pee (but we call it tinkle) and one big marshmallow for going Diddy (but we call it poo-poo). Sometimes if you try but can't go you just might get 1 chocolate chip...
.
Check out this awesome post Anthropologie Style, Wal-Mart Price over at the AJW Design CO blog. Alycia was able to meld my love for Anthropologie style with my SAHM thriftiness!! That's right folks... I was the inspiration for this post. Well not the inspiration... but it was my idea... that has to count for something... I'm going to stop typing now...

wow! When I helped my neighbors little girl potty train, she got M&M's. Chocolate Chip Cookies?! I'm coming there! Yummy!! You're going to have a big bathroom boy in no time. Cora taking notes too?? :)

Good for you for "not caring" when. It looks like you're trying, then let it go for a while, then try again.
Thanks for the linky!

P. Diddy! Ha! Good luck with the pt. I'm so glad to be done with that phase.

Fun link - I'm going to check out Walmart.

My son was 3 when he was potty trained. I had him pee on a cheerio. lol I was too busy chasing twin babies around to really try anything neat like you are!

You guys are SO cute!

I am not stressing the potty training either. I see very few men walk down the isle wearing a Pull-Up. And seriously, if my three year is still wearing a diaper at his wedding, his wife can potty train him. :)

No worries on the potty training. You'll get there. And by the way, my son was 100% trained by age 4. My DD will be 3 in May, and she's already 99% trained. (her idea, basically!) She sleeps in diapers, but that's it. I don't know if it's because she's a girl or if it's because she's the second child and she sees all of us sitting on the big potty...I don't care, she's basically done!

p.s. We used M&M's for Noah, it seemed like it took forever but he eventually got it! Good luck!

Too funny! I don't blame you one bit. Got a while yet till we will potty train our 2nd son. Having a new little one is like starting all over again. Enjoy every moment of it. I am sure it will be something to remember!

My son(who is 3 1/2) is now going potty and we also use a potty chart and he loves putting the stickers on it. We have had a few accidents where he would poop in his underwear instead of the toilet so we are still working on that.
